Meet Dr. Enisa Hodzic

​

Dr. Enisa Hodzic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the age of nine, her life was shaped by global events when she and her family left their home due to the war. She spent seven formative years in Germany before moving to the United States, settling in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the summer of 2025, Dr. Hodzic and her family relocated to the Chicago area to be closer to extended family.

Dr. Hodzic earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. She completed her third and fourth years of medical school training in Chicago, where she lived in Oak Park. She went on to complete her pediatric residency in Syracuse, New York, and later returned to Wisconsin to be near her parents.

​

Dr. Hodzic is Board-Certified and for 13 years has practiced pediatrics in Hartford, Wisconsin, where she built long lasting relationships with her patients and their families. Leaving that community was a heartfelt decision, made so she could again be closer to family in the Chicago area.

​

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hodzic is married and a proud mother of four-year-old twins. She and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and creating meaningful memories together. Dr. Hodzic’s greatest passion is caring for children, supporting their health, happiness, and development. She believes strongly in partnering with parents and families, recognizing them as an essential part of the healthcare team in helping every child thrive.

Patients often call her Dr. Enisa or Dr. H, and she is happy to be known by either.
