                     WELCOMING DR. STACY MATHEWS TO DR. KORDAS PEDIATRIC HEALTH CARE CENTER

 

Our practice is growing and as part of our unwavering dedication to providing you with both exceptional and comprehensive care, we are bringing on a new pediatrician who will be joining our team on July 17th, 2023.

 

We are so very excited and pleased to welcome Dr. Stacy Mathews to our medical team here at DR KORDAS PEDIATRIC HEALTH CARE CENTER. It is our hope that you will love her just as much as we all do!! You will find Dr. Mathews to be a very caring and compassionate doctor and her philosophy of practicing is the same as ours and that is to provide exceptional pediatric care to every family every day with a spirit of warmth, friendliness and compassion.

 

Dr. Mathews was raised in Dallas, Texas and received her undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University. It was there that she met her husband who used to be a patient at Dr. Kordas’s office!

 

She completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso where she got invaluable experience volunteering at shelters along the US-Mexico border. She then returned to Saint Louis University for pediatric residency just in time for the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Dr. Mathews has a special interest in nutrition and mental health advocacy. She loves reading, being outside and trying out new recipes with her family.
